Three Year Anniversary – A Birth Story

10 years ago, Frank and Nini began a friendship rooted in Chinese medicine and philanthropy. Years later, that friendship blossomed into a loving partnership, and in 2014 the world met their son, Xavier.

Frank and Nini turned to each other and said: “How in the world are we going to ever do better than that?”

Just kidding, they didn’t actually say that to each other, but they were met with a new perspective on life, practice, and healing that inspired radical change.

Frank was operating his booming practice, SoHo Acupuncture, in an office by Grand Central. Nini had sold her practice in Venice Beach before going on maternity leave and was ready to start out fresh in NYC, but had no office. It became clear that, much like their son, the potential to create something greater than their individual practices could only be realized if they combined forces.

Thus, Evolve was born.

What they envisioned was not just private practice, but a community resource that serves as a way to generate positive change for as many people as possible. Their goal was to build a reliable place where patients can receive exceptional medical care as well as education to improve their health and wellness, and a wonderful place to work and grow as practitioners in the life-long study of medicine.

Evolve was born out of a desire to make the world a better place, one patient, one student, one clinician at a time. It is our belief that with a strong community, rooted in love, compassion, and integrity, we can build a better society and future for all.
