It’s about that time of year that we start to gather, be it gathering the harvest of the year, gathering our energy as we move into the Yin months, or gathering together with friends and loved ones in gratitude. Here at Evolve, we have been gathering our bearings and have some exciting news to share with you!
We are pleased to announce the return of one of our most beloved clinicians and the addition of a new clinician to the family!
Dr. Christina Ippolito, DC, LAc, is a true scholar of the human body, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology, a Doctorate of Chiropractic, and a license of Acupuncture. A couple of years ago, she was lured away from us and we missed her so much that she has agreed to return to the clinic to split time between her private practice at Evolve and her position at the Integrated Spine Department at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, a Harvard Medical School-affiliated clinic. We are so fortunate and over the moon that she has returned!
Xin Tao, LAc is a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seneca Falls, where he had gained extensive clinical experience at various institutions, including Seneca Falls Health Center, NYCC Campus Health Center, Rochester Outpatient Health Center, and the Canandaigua Veterans Affair Medical Center. An avid herbalist, he has extensive experience in all aspects of herbalism, including cultivation, dispensing, and customized formula writing. His interests led him to continue his clinical education in China with rotations in pain management and herbal medicine at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Since returning to the US, Tao has maintained a full-time practice in Queens while completing his post-graduate fellowship at Evolve. We are so pleased and honored to have him join our team of providers.
So you haven’t met these beautiful people yet, you say? You have an opportunity to meet them both this weekend!
We are hosting our bi-monthly Community Acupuncture Benefit event this upcoming Saturday, November 2nd, from 10am to 2pm. All the proceeds from the day’s event will be going towards supporting the providers of the Global Alternative Healthcare Project and our continued work with the Navajo Nation.
We have extended our hours for the Fall, so make your appointments today if you want those prime end-of-day and weekend times. We hope to see you soon for a tune-up, qi gong class, or at the Community Acupuncture Benefit this Saturday!
